Nordic Walking Poles Ideal For Those With Knee, Hip, Back And Balance Issues – Far Superior To A Cane

Dear Pete,

Thanks for being there for us, for being there to answer our calls, and for offering this way of walking in Norway and other Nordic countries.

With my hip injury, I lost confidence walking and have begin walking less – (pre-injury I hiked 90 min. daily!). I am focused on natural solutions, incl. PRP and now this as my PT aid!

On just the first day with these, I had a smile on my face, feeling more athletic than injured. Today is day 3 and as I walked by a couple, one with a cane, the other partner noted I look like I am vigorously exercising. I told them the name of these and suggested he could try these than the cane. I told them I chose this than a cane, and read folks feeling more balanced and able to stand taller with Nordic walking poles.

I already feel today I am walking faster, closer to my old stride, and perspiring too, which has not happened because I walked slow and like an injured person.

I feel I am also going to work my arms, and we all need more arm work. Especially as we age, muscle building is harder. I am planning to bring this to Europe for a long work conference where we need to mill around booths and network. I haven’t dared walk much post-injury and the work conference will be a test, and I feel safer knowing I will be walking around the convention hall now, albeit like a X-country skier…

I will see how it is bringing these on the plane! I also now plan to buy the bag for these…glad they have a strap for our shoulder!

This note is long, as some of our journeys in injury have been a process…but there are always miracles and blessings to be found…like these walking poles!

with so much gratitude and love,
